Personal statement
I am a compassionate and experienced therapist, and my work is dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s most meaningful and challenging transitions. I earned my Doctor of Philosophy in East-West Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California (WSCUC accredited), and my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington (AAMFT accredited).
In my practice, I provide a wide range of therapeutic services, including individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and premarital counseling. I have experience working with clients facing depression, anxiety, grief and bereavement, empty nest syndrome, and relational struggles. I also work closely with caregivers who support loved ones with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, and I offer geriatric counseling designed to meet the unique needs of older adults (65+).
My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices and shaped by a culturally sensitive perspective. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where my clients can explore challenges, strengthen their relationships, and build resilience. With a holistic view of mental health, my goal is to empower individuals and families to navigate life and relationship difficulties, embrace personal growth, and create more fulfilling, connected lives.
