Personal statement

As a senior clinical health psychologist, I find profound meaning in the transformative journey of therapy. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which emphasizes the acceptance of emotions and thoughts rather than fighting against them. I believe that psychological flexibility is essential for navigating life's challenges. By fostering mindfulness, I help my clients cultivate a deeper awareness of their experiences, which is crucial for personal growth and healing.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to assisting individuals in crisis, particularly those grappling with thoughts of suicide and self-harm. This specialization is more than just a professional focus; it is a reflection of my undying wish to help everyone I encounter. Each person's story is unique, and I strive to create a safe, empathetic space where they can express their feelings and explore their paths toward recovery.

I approach each client with compassion and respect, recognizing the strength it takes to seek help. My goal is to empower individuals to embrace their emotions and develop the resilience needed to face life's adversities. I am honored to walk alongside my clients, guiding them toward a place of healing and hope.
